Title: The role of surgeons in the changing socio-cultural, political and environmental climate.
Authors: Frilling, A
Item Type: Journal Article
Abstract: The increasingly complex environment, the consequences of changing climate, highly politicised crisis situations, a rising number of forcibly displaced people, and the growing wealth gap have created conditions which a surgical community has in the past never experienced. Surgeons should be aware of this new challenge and contribute to global surgery.
