Abstract
In this paper, the performance under compressive static load of I-section stiffened panels is reported. A pristine panel is compared with panels containing simulated damage and repaired panels. Modes of failure, stiffness and strains are studied and it is shown that the significant decreases in strength caused by the damage are almost fully recovered by the repair scheme used.
