Abstract
Research into vaccines and biotherapeutics based on nucleic acids is the most promising to address major diseases and illnesses, particularly cancers and viruses. RNA-based vaccines are advantageous due to their simple manufacturing process, addressing the issue of immunising against new variants efficiently. However, this comes with significant challenges.
