Abstract
New classes of Pseudo-differential operators based on the short-time Fourier
transform are introduced. The relationship between these classes and the
Hormander classes is explored, and formulae for composition, adjoints, and
parametrices are created. Gabor frames are then used to characterise pseudodifferential operators in discrete fashion, and explore condition for boundedness
on Lp spaces.
