Abstract
Institutional health partnerships allow for innovative methods that strengthen healthcare delivery. Twinning partnerships is one such innovative approach that enables inter-institutional collaboration in the pursuit of excellence in quality of care over the long-term. The World Health Organization has developed resources that help in identifying needs on quality of care and the development of action planning to facilitate partnerships in times of crises such as during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and beyond.
In this best practice correspondence, the quality-of-care team presents the twinning partnerships initiative presenting evidence of impact across the Asian diaspora and discussing its sustainability.
