Abstract
AmeasurementofWZ electroweak(EW)vectorbosonscatteringispresented.ThemeasurementisperformedintheleptonicdecaymodesWZ→ ν ′ ′,where , ′=e,μ.Theanalysisisbasedonadatasampleofproton-protoncollisionsat√s=13 TeVattheLHCcollectedwiththeCMSdetectorandcorrespondingtoanintegratedluminosityof35.9 fb−1.TheWZ plustwojetproductioncrosssectionismeasuredinfiducialregionswithenhancedcontributionsfromEWproductionandfoundtobeconsistentwithstandardmodelpredictions.TheEW WZ productioninassociationwithtwojetsismeasuredwithanobserved(expected)significanceof2.2(2.5)standarddeviations.ConstraintsonchargedHiggsbosonproductionandonanomalousquarticgaugecouplingsintermsofdimension-eighteffectivefieldtheoryoperatorsarealsopresented.
