Abstract
This editorial article accompanies a Special Issue of Applied Thermal Engineering dedicated to the 10th Heat Powered Cycles (HPC) Conference. The conference was hosted by the University of Edinburgh, in Scotland (UK), between the 3rd and 6th of September 2023. The Special Issue includes 8 articles, covering a diverse range of topics from thermal energy storage, to adsorption and thermodynamic cycles for power generation, heating and/or cooling provision, as well as hybrid systems for multigeneration.
