This response has been developed by Imperial colleagues for the House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee methane inquiry.
The submission covers the role of methane emissions in reduction commitments; remaining carbon budgets and methane; progress made on methane monitoring and data collection in the UK; methane leakages in the UK; interventions in waste management to reduce emissions.
