Abstract
Major failures in healthcare exist for low to middle-income countries. This has arisen due to lack of infrastructure, lack of education, failure to adhere to standardised healthcare procedures, lack of financial support for medical supplies and low staff to patient ratios. The Latin American Consortium for Innovation (CLICSS) presents a best practice approach known as the good- bye bacteraemia initiative. The initiative adapted the institute of health improvement’s collaborative breakthrough series model and aims to tackle sepsis by using multiple campaigns established by CLICSS with multidisciplinary interorganisational support to facilitate virtual education sessions and best practice. Evidence of impact and feasibility of sustaining the best practice model across low to middle income countries is discussed.
