Abstract
The original edition of Compressor Aerodynamics was published by Longman in 1989. In 2003 Pearson, who had taken over Longman, no longer wanted to keep it in print. I therefore approached the Krieger Publishing Company in the USA who took it on, incorporating all the corrigenda that were in the original. This worked well until late 2025, when Krieger decided to give up their business with books. There does appear to be continued interest in Compressor Aerodynamics and it seemed a pity to let it slide into obscurity. Krieger agreed to release the
