Abstract
This vignette describes the case of a 38-year-old multiparous, 36-week pregnant patient, who was referred for a transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) for shortness of breath and orthopnoea following a recent COVID infection. TTE detected a mobile mass on the aortic valve leaflet which was suggestive of papillary fibroelastoma and as a result she was referred for elective surgical resection post-partum.
