Abstract
The 2019 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic continues to significantly disrupt services with consequent morbidity and mortality from both cardio-respiratory and multi-systemic complications.
Clinical care delivery of the disease was severely affected in the early stages by the lack of tools to support borderless knowledge delivery and the global education of clinicians not familiar with invasive mechanical ventilation.
In collaboration with industry, newer approaches using digital learning platforms enabled effective training delivery for clinicians. We present such a platform designed to facilitate enhanced digital learning at the beginning of the pandemic, which continues to support non-expert clinician and surgeon training providing them with exposure to mechanical ventilation training.
