Abstract
As of the 27th August 2022, the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has affected 601 million individuals with a total of 6.49 million deaths halting the progress and delivery of universal in-person health coverage and has challenged all aspects of healthcare quality. Significant service disruptions, shortages of medicines, increased mortality and morbidity are all issues that resulted from the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
The disruption caused by the pandemic required the adoption of modern telehealth approaches to support remote healthcare delivery. This case-study presents an example of best practice innovation for a national evidence-based telehealthcare approach to support effective healthcare.
